How the Homemade Factory Got Started
There is an old saying that necessity is the mother of invention. That is indeed how The Homemade Factory got started.
Three years ago, my wife and our founder, the little baker, purchased a birthday cake for her birthday and it was a huge disappointment. It was heavy, not flavorful, and too sweet. She knew that she could do better. When our daughter was diagnosed with a condition that required that we reduce raw sugar and fat in our diet, it represented her call to action.
Toiling in the kitchen for the next three years, she was reminded of all of the recipes and techniques that she had learned from her late grandmother. Countless hours were spent adjusting, refining and retooling her grandmother’s recipes for cakes, cookies, breads, and pies. When our youngest son said “Mommy, it looks like a factory in here “the Homemade Factory was born.
We're On A Roll
Using the name our son came up with, we made the decision to start a business featuring old fashioned homemade baked goods NJ but with a vintage style and classic feel. Letting our high-quality ingredients speak for themselves, and featuring a range of products that are classic, but unique. Like the old school bakeries of the 50’s and 60’s, the aromas and freshness is what sets our creations apart and makes them distinctive and special.
This is why we do what we do: meticulously prepare elegant, refined and timeless creations, backed by years of trial and error and experience, and executed to perfection. We use only the freshest, highest quality ingredients and add a touch of old-fashioned magic to deliver delicious, fresh baked goods directly to you.
